Our body massage treatments...

We offer tailor made body massage treatments, adapted to suit each client's different needs, using our hand blended therapeutic aromatherapy oils. Our basic body massage has been a mainstay for many Micheline Arcier clients over countless years.

Body Massage (1 hour) £60.00
This is a traditional body massage using our own blended essential oils which works on muscles and connective tissue as well as stimulating blood and lymph circulation. This treatment is especially good for tight, tense muscles working to de-contract muscle fibres, whilst inducing a state of relaxation. 

Deep Tissue Massage (1 hour) £60.00
This is a treatment designed to relieve deeply held muscular tensions. Where tension has been held in the body over a long period of time, there may be restricted movement or stiffness, poor circulation and postual adjustments that exaggerate the problem. Using a variety of techniques, the movements ease into the muscles to access the deeper layers of soft tissue and help work out the tension held there. Treatments can be adapted to the physique and needs of the client.

Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage (30 minutes) £30.00
A quick 'pick me up' treatment suitable as a mini treat in between regular aromatherapy or body massage treatments or for those who don't have time to fit in a full hour. This thorough back massage can focus on problem areas, such as stiff shoulders, to leave you feeling relaxed but invigorated and ready to face the wrold again!

Our aromatherapy detox body treatments... 

Whether it’s seasonal over-indulgence or a poor lifestyle (often) brought on by stress and time-starvation, how to de-tox successfully is a dilemma for many people. At Micheline Arcier Aromatherapy, we’re delighted to lend a helping hand - literally. Our detox massage treatment, using a specific blend of essential oils, will help speed up the elimination of toxins by helping to improve the blood circulation. Say good bye to bad habits and come and spoil yourself the right way!

Intense De-toxification * (1 hour) £60.00
(Best results experienced from a course of 6 or 10 treatments at regular intervals)

A stimulating and invigorating treatment to relieve congestion and promote healthy elimination and release of toxic waste.
A course of treatments is beneficial as part of a weight loss programme and two treatments each week are recommended as an intensive boost to the system. (Even a single treatment is helpful as part of a de-tox programme and may be particularly beneficial after periods of over-indulgence, when the body has become sluggish, or as part of a seasonal "pick me up" programme.) This treatment is best combined with using recommended Aromatherapy products at home, a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise.

Aromatherapie Cellulite Treatment * (1 hour) £60.00
This treatment is a wonderful aid to 'detox' in addition to encouraging a better sense of well-being and energy. It works on the lower lumbar area and legs, helping to speed up blood and lymph circulation and tone the muscles. Hot linseed poultices are applied at the end of the treatment to increase the absorption of the oils and elimination of toxins. This treatment is best combined with using recommended Aromatherapy products at home, a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise.

Treatments marked with a * require a preliminary half hour consultation (£25) to determine the needs of the client. This enables the therapist to choose the most appropriate treatment to administer in the clinic and the most suitable produts for use at home.
