HEALTHY TIP:  Tonique in the Shower

No time for a Bath, but want the Get-up-and-Go feeling from Tonique?
Try this little tip for using our bath oils in the shower: Once showered with Douceur Wash and rinsed away the foam, stand away from the shower spray and pour no more than 1/2 teaspoonful Of Tonique Bath Oil into the palm of your damp hands. Gently rub your hands together and spread the oil lightly over damp body, legs and arms, taking care to avoid sensitive areas. Now either briefly stand back under the shower, or gently pat your skin dry as you would after a Tonique Bath.

We absorb essential oils through our sense of smell and our skin.  A warm bath enhances such aromas whilst opening the pores of the skin, and is therefore one of the most effective and enjoyable ways of treating yourself to aromathérapie at home. But be careful - our bath oils are powerful and potent. Run a warm bath and add just one teaspoonful of bath oil. Then step in, sit back and relax - we recommend 10-15 minutes if possible.  For hand or foot baths, just use 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoonful of the oil.
